FUNDRAISING

Whether you are giving or raising funding, we work to ensure every dollar goes as far as possible and that teams are supported to achieve long term financial sustainability.
This can involve researching and profiling prospective funders or grantees, facilitating proposal design workshops, writing grant proposals and reports, and recruiting and training staff or board members.
COMMUNICATIONS

We are passionate about telling stories that bring to life the celebratory achievements of Africa, and ignite positive change.
We work with clients who are looking to build their brand, share their stories and to develop key stakeholder partnerships. We offer communications strategies, creative direction, (re)branding and messaging, film production, photographic portfolio creation, social media management and mentorship for communications and marketing managers.
STRATEGIC PLANNING

We help anchor efforts with solid plans, formed and adapted through participatory discussions and debates that challenge conventional thinking.
We focus on capacity and team building through collaborative strategic planning, conservation plans, organisational policies, and annual work plan development. Our services include ongoing mentorship and accountability ‘check-ins’.

Who we are

Each of the Tatu Collective members has found their unique path into the conservation sector in Africa.

We offer each client our collective expertise, spanning strategy consulting with leading global firms and NGOs, managing fundraising efforts to secure over $750 million for conservation and development initiatives, directing over 30 films and communications campaigns, and building the capacity of NGO boards and local teams.
